Double Tragedy Rocks Portsmouth Estate

Armed cops stormed a £500,000 Portsmouth home after reports of a shooting left multiple victims injured. The drama unfolded just before 10am on Wednesday, September 14, at a four-bedroom house on Holcot Lane in the Anchorage Park estate.

Neighbours Report Shocking Gunfire

Paramedics from South Central Ambulance also rushed to the scene of what police are calling a tragic incident. Neighbours, stunned by the chaos, claim former jewellery shop manager Christopher Stone-Houghton allegedly opened fire, injuring family members and then reportedly turning the gun on himself.

One anonymous neighbour said: “I heard several loud bangs – it definitely sounded like gunshots.”

Police Launch Murder Probe

A huge police cordon now surrounds the property as specialist crime scene officers and major crime detectives piece together the horrifying events. Hampshire Police have confirmed a murder investigation is underway following the deaths of a 60-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man found inside the house.
