Investigations Underway
The police conduct in the incident is now under scrutiny. British Transport Police officers involved have been reported to their Professional Standards Department. The Independent Office for Police Conduct will also review the case, as standard procedure.
No Road or Station Closures
Despite media chatter, Sussex Police confirmed they did not shut any roads, railway stations, or bus stops due to the match. The game went ahead amid heightened security but without major disruption to transport.
