Attempted Murder Probe After Two Teens Mowed Down in East London
Police have launched an attempted murder investigation after a grey BMW deliberately ran down two teenage boys in East London on Monday afternoon.
Chase Ends in Shocking Attack
The drama unfolded in Stepney, where two teenagers were chased by the BMW into Scott Street following a stabbing on nearby Wellesley Street. Earlier, two other teens had been stabbed in the area and rushed to hospital.
Eyewitnesses say the two Bangladeshi teens who were stabbed fled into a local Sainsbury’s, where they changed clothes in a desperate bid to escape.
Brother of Victim Takes Justice Into His Own Hands
In a shocking twist, the brother of one of the Wellesley Street stabbing victims reportedly hunted down the two fleeing teens and rammed them with the BMW.
One local, who asked to remain anonymous, said: “The pair had just carried out a brutal attack. Then the brother went after them and mowed them down.”
Crime Scene Secured as Police Investigate
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed an attempted murder inquiry is underway. It remains unclear if any arrests have been made or how the two incidents are connected.
A crime scene remains in place as detectives piece together what happened in this violent stand-off on the streets of East London.
