Manhunt Underway After Brutal Daylight Attack in Portsmouth
A terrifying attack unfolded in broad daylight in Portsmouth city centre on Friday evening, sparking a massive manhunt.

Bloodstains, medical equipment, a large hunting knife, and chunks of clothing torn from the victim were scattered across Portsmouth’s Arundel Street. The grim scene tells of a savage assault that shocked onlookers.
Emergency Services Rush to the Drama
Hampshire Police, paramedics, and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance scrambled to the scene around 5.30pm near the junction of Arundel Street and Slindon Street. The air ambulance touched down in a nearby car park amid the chaos.
A huge crime scene now stretches across Slindon Street, Yapton Street, and part of Arundel Street – all cordoned off as officers carried out CPR on the stricken man. First aid kits and deep red blood marks are visible on the pavement, revealing the desperate battle to save his life.
