Tragic Discovery Near Dibbles Bridge Ends Molly Garbutt Search
North Yorkshire Police have called off the frantic search for 25-year-old Molly Ann Garbutt after a body was found near Dibbles Bridge, Hebden, on Wednesday afternoon at around 3:15pm.

Molly, who vanished from Leeds, had sparked a desperate hunt after her black Renault Clio was spotted parked off the B6265 earlier that day. Although the body remains formally unidentified, police have informed Molly’s family. The investigation continues.
Massive Rescue Effort Involved RAF, Coastguard & Fell Teams
The extensive search involved RAF Mountain Rescue, Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, and an HM Coastguard helicopter. Details on the discovery’s circumstances have yet to be released.

Molly was last seen wearing pink leggings, a brown velvet thigh-length coat, and white boots. A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
“While formal identification has not yet taken place, Molly’s family have been informed about the death and are being supported by the police. We ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time as we prepare a report for the coroner.”
