The body of 18-year-old Declan Berry has been tragically pulled from the River Nene, two weeks after a deadly crash near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, claimed two teenage lives.

Declan was one of five teenagers in a blue VW Polo that careened off the road at Crab Marsh at around 8pm on Tuesday, March 17, plunging straight into the river.
While 16-year-old Eden Bunn’s body was recovered the next day, Declan’s whereabouts remained a mystery — until today’s grim discovery.
Emergency crews including police divers, paramedics, and firefighters battled tough conditions to scour the riverbed in search of Declan.
Three Teens Survive Crash with Injuries
- Two 16-year-old girls and an 18-year-old male passenger escaped with injuries.
- All were rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with non-life-threatening wounds.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Craig Wheeler said: “Declan’s family have been notified, and I ask that their privacy is respected during this horrendous time.”
