Tragic Find: Teen’s Body Found in River Medway
Kent Police were called to a grim discovery at 10.35am on Thursday 10 March 2022. A body was spotted in the River Medway near Aylesford.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Officers arrived alongside Kent Fire and Rescue and South East Coast Ambulance Service. A teenage boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Notified, Investigation Underway
The body is believed to be a 17-year-old boy who went missing on 17 February. Formal identification is yet to be confirmed, but the family has been informed.
Kent Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be sent to the coroner for further investigation.
