Five-Year-Old Boy Hit by Car Outside Chelmsford School

A young boy has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car near a school in Chelmsford. The shocking crash happened just before 9am outside Beaulieu Park School on Armistice Avenue.

Emergency Services Respond Quickly

Police and paramedics scrambled to the scene at around 8:50am on Thursday, March 13. The 5-year-old was swiftly taken by ambulance to Broomfield Hospital for urgent treatment. His current condition remains unknown.

An East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.50am with reports of a collision in Armistice Avenue, Springfield. We sent one ambulance and took a 5-year-old boy to Broomfield Hospital for further care.”
