British Transport Police are on the hunt after a violent attack at Canterbury East Railway Station. The shocking assault happened just after 8am on Monday, September 18, when a staff member checking tickets was brutally attacked.

The trouble began when a passenger was asked to show his ticket. Instead of cooperating, he flew into a rage, hurling threats before physically attacking the worker. The victim was knocked to the ground, suffering facial injuries as the attacker made a swift escape.

Police Release Bodycam Image – Public Help Needed

British Transport Police have now released a body-worn camera image of the suspect. They’re urging anyone who recognises him to get in touch, believing the man holds vital clues to cracking the case.
