Dogs Stolen in Daring Thorrington Raid – Police Need Your Help!

Police are hunting crooks who broke into a Thorrington farm and snatched four dogs from their kennels. The theft happened between 4pm and 6.30pm on Sunday 13 September at a property on Hall Lane, Colchester.

Details of the Stolen Dogs

The stolen dogs include:

  • One black Spingador (looks like a black Labrador)
  • One liver-coloured Cocker Spaniel with a white chest
  • Two liver and white Springer Spaniels, one with a mole on his left eyelid

All dogs are male and working breeds. Investigating Officer PC Matt Hall said: “They have never worn collars and would be very uncomfortable on a lead – they’re just not used to it.”

Police Urge Public to Speak Up

PC Hall added: “We want anyone who saw dogs matching this description since Sunday 13 September to come forward.” He also urged anyone in the area who noticed unusual or suspicious activity to get in touch.
