Witnesses Describe Horror
Radio One DJ Reece Parkinson, at the club during the crash, took to Twitter to express his shock. Witness Sonny Powar told reporters:
“It was just a normal night out at Blake’s nightclub in Gravesend. Some guy wasn’t let into the club, or was kicked out, so he drove his 4×4 into the tent we were all in. It stopped at my feet – any further and I could have died. Then he reversed and we all ran.”
Sonny also witnessed the car hitting two people before the driver was pulled from the vehicle. Details on the condition of the injured have not yet been released.
