The horror unfolded at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, March 4, on the Studley Estate between Stockwell Underground Station and Clapham. Police rushed to the scene after reports of gunfire, discovering the teenager shot dead.

Police Plead for Help as Killer Remains Free

Superintendent Gabriel Cameron, heading the investigation, said:

“This is an enormously shocking incident which I imagine will cause huge distress to the local community. Our thoughts are with the young boy’s family at this devastating time.”

“Local officers are gathering CCTV and speaking to witnesses to piece together what has happened. Specialist homicide investigators will assist shortly. We are working around the clock to find those responsible.”

So far, no arrests have been made and the shooter remains on the loose.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan slammed the attack, calling it “abhorrent violence” that has no place in the capital. He added:
