Tragic Cliff Fall at Seaford Head
A man has died after plunging from the cliffs near Seaford Head Golf Club this afternoon.
Emergency Services Respond
Sussex Police were alerted at 1.42pm following reports of a distressed man dangerously close to the cliff edge.
Coastguard teams, alongside a rescue helicopter, Newhaven Lifeboat, and local coastguard rescue units, launched a recovery operation.
Body Recovered from Cliff Base
“The body of a man has been recovered from the foot of cliffs at Seaford Head,” a Sussex Police spokesman confirmed.
