£20,000 Reward for Hit-and-Run Horror That Killed Beloved Mum Ina Rodrigues

Crimestoppers is offering a huge £20,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of those behind the hit-and-run death of Ina Rodrigues, 58. The much-loved mother was struck and killed while crossing Talgarth Road in Hammersmith earlier this year.

The Deadly Crash

The tragedy happened on Tuesday, 16 January. Ina was on her way home from work when a moped rider hit her. She was rushed to hospital but later died from her injuries. Horrifyingly, the moped rider and a passenger dumped the vehicle and bolted on foot.

The Metropolitan Police released CCTV footage in July showing the suspects abandoning the moped. Though they were wearing helmets, Crimestoppers believes there might still be distinctive clues to spot.

Family Plea and Police Appeal

“Ina’s daughters have spoken so lovingly about their ‘beautiful, kind mother’ and how heartbroken they are at losing her in such tragic and unexpected circumstances,” said Alex Loukas, London Manager at Crimestoppers.

“We urge anyone with information to come forward and study the CCTV footage carefully.”

The Rodrigues family remains devastated, describing Ina as “a light in their lives.” They hope the reward will help bring the killers to justice and offer some closure.

Stay Anonymous, Help Catch the Killers

Crimestoppers stresses anyone providing tips will remain completely anonymous. “We know some find it hard to speak directly to police. Our charity has guaranteed anonymity for decades, and we always keep that promise,” said Loukas.

To claim the £20,000 reward, tips must be given to Crimestoppers directly. The charity works with law enforcement but operates independently to keep whistleblowers safe.

Anyone with information or who can spot something in the CCTV footage is urged to come forward now. Bringing Ina’s killers to justice could save lives and stop another family from facing heartbreak.
