Missing Driver Wanted After M3 Christmas Crash
Police are hunting Andris Romanovs, 29, from Northamptonshire, after a crash on the M3 last Christmas morning. The silver Mercedes he was driving smashed into the central reservation barrier around 8.15am on the southbound carriageway near Junction 1.
Romanovs Skips Bail Amid Serious Charges
Romanovs was arrested soon after the collision, facing charges including aggravated vehicle taking and drunk driving. He was released on bail until January 16 but has since vanished, failing to return to police.
Police Urge Public to Help Track Down Fugitive
PC I Squire said: “We’ve carried out extensive inquiries but are now asking the public for help. We have serious concerns about his driving and want to make sure he poses no further risk on our roads. Have you seen him? Do you know where he is? Please get in touch.”
