Urgent Search for Missing Newborn ‘Baby Graham’ and Parents
Detectives are growing desperate to find a missing newborn baby girl, known as ‘Baby Graham’, and her parents. The tiny tot is just seven days old and vanished with her mum and dad, Azara and Machel Graham, on Thursday afternoon, 29 April.
Baby Graham Needs Urgent Medical Care
At a routine post-natal check, health staff spotted serious breathing problems in Baby Graham. They urged the parents to rush her to A&E immediately. But Azara and Machel ignored this vital medical advice and have disappeared since.
Police Launch High-Risk Investigation
Officers have been making urgent visits to the family’s Southwark home but have found neither baby nor parents. Detective Chief Inspector Lucy O’Connor said:
“We are increasingly concerned for the safety of Baby Graham. Her parents’ refusal to get her medical help could seriously harm her. Right now, our only priority is this tiny baby’s safety.”
She urged anyone housing or seeing the Grahams to prioritise Baby Graham’s welfare and contact police without delay.
“I appeal directly to Azara and Machel: do the right thing and get Baby Graham to the nearest A&E now.”
