Teen Stabbed to Death in Lambeth: Police Hunt Killer
Tragedy struck Oval Place, SW8, late Monday night when police were called just before midnight to reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to find 16-year-old Keane Flynn-Harling bleeding from stab wounds.
Despite frantic efforts by the London Ambulance Service, Keane was pronounced dead at the scene. The teen, from Lambeth, leaves behind heartbroken family members now supported by specialist officers.
Police Launch Intense Hunt for Murderer
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation into Keane’s tragic death. They are urging witnesses to come forward and share any information, no matter how small.
“Officers are working around the clock, chasing multiple leads following the needless loss of another young life on London’s streets,” said Detective Chief Inspector Dan O’Sullivan. “We need anyone who knows anything to contact us. Your information could be crucial in bringing justice to Keane’s family.”
There have been no arrests yet, and police continue their exhaustive enquiries.

Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove, responsible for Lambeth and Southwark policing, expressed his grief: “I’m shocked and saddened by the senseless loss of Keane to knife crime. Another family is devastated by this traumatic violence in our community.”
He added: “We are stepping up patrols to keep streets safer and urge anyone with information to come forward. Together, we must end this needless violence.”
