Missing Man Now Murder Suspect: Family Heartbroken
The family of Justin Henry, 34, has been told his disappearance is now being treated as a murder investigation. Specialist officers are supporting them through this devastating news.
Detective Chief Inspector Pleads for Public Help
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Wood of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said:
“Sadly, yesterday we had to inform Mr Henry’s family that we are treating his disappearance as a murder investigation. You can only imagine how devastating this will be for all those who love and care for him. His loved ones are still hoping and praying Justin will be found safe and well. But the lack of proof he’s alive, the unusual circumstances, and forensic evidence suggest he’s come to serious harm and may have been murdered. Along with his family, we sincerely hope that’s not true. That’s why we’re urgently asking the public to help us find out what happened.
Please think of the anguish Justin’s family is going through. If you have any information, no matter how small, please contact us. Your tip could be the vital piece to solving this mystery.”
He urged anyone with info to call police or anonymously reach out to Crimestoppers. “They never ask your name and keep things totally confidential,” he added.
