Chaos erupted in Hyde Park as machete-wielding teens sparked a violent brawl last night.

17-Year-Old Stabbed in Brutal Park Assault

Police rushed to Hyde Park at 9pm after reports of an assault involving several males armed with machetes. Upon arrival, officers found a 17-year-old boy with stab wounds. Emergency first aid was given on the spot before he was rushed to hospital, where he remains in stable, non-life-threatening condition.

Teen Arrested as Police Hunt Machete Mob

A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of affray linked to the violent incident. Detective Superintendent Alex Bingley called for witnesses to come forward and identify those involved.

“We urge anyone who knows or can identify the men in these pictures to come forward. No piece of information is too small. The brazen violence witnessed by families enjoying the sun in Hyde Park was shocking and unacceptable. We are committed to keeping our parks safe and are stepping up patrols. Anyone with concerns should speak to officers,” said Detective Superintendent Bingley.
