Police Hunt Man Over Horror Rape Near Liverpool Glassworks
Detectives in Liverpool have released CCTV images of a man linked to a reported rape at an apartment on Vauxhall Road. The attack allegedly happened between 6am and 7am on Saturday, September 23.
Suspect Spotted in Dark Nissan Qashqai or Juke
CCTV shows the man arriving in a dark vehicle, possibly a Nissan Qashqai or Juke. The victim, a young man, is now under the care of specialist officers from the Unity Team, who handle serious sexual offence investigations.
Police Appeal for Public’s Help to Identify Suspect
Detective Inspector Carla Cross stressed how seriously the police are treating this vile attack. She said:
“It is completely unacceptable to target and attack anyone in this horrifying manner. We are urgently seeking anyone who recognises the man pictured to come forward. We believe he holds vital information to help our enquiries.”
