A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder last Friday, 9 October, and remains in custody at a south London police station as inquiries continue.
Deadly Stabbing Rocks Morden Flats
Chaos broke out just before 11pm on Thursday, 1 October, when police were called to reports of a stabbing outside a block of flats on London Road, Morden. Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Two men were found suffering stab wounds. Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, 25-year-old Patrick Gomes De’Almeida was declared dead at 11.26pm.
Second Victim Fighting for Recovery
The other victim, a 33-year-old man, was rushed to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. His condition is stable.
