Knife-Wielding Robber Strikes at Dalston Shopping Centre

Police were scrambled at 8.30pm on Friday, 24 April after a daring robbery at Dalston Kingsland Shopping Centre, E8.

A man in his 20s was threatened with a knife by a suspect who forced him to withdraw cash at a cash point. The thief then made off with money and the victim’s Oyster card from his wallet.

Investigation Underway as Police Hunt Suspect

Detective Constable James Readman, leading the probe, said: “A man brandishing a knife forced the victim to hand over cash and his wallet in a busy shopping centre. This brazen attack is likely to have been seen by many witnesses.”

Officers are appealing for anyone with information or who can identify the man pictured to come forward.
