Terror Arrests Rock Newtownards and Hillsborough

Three Men Held in Anti-Terror Sweep

Police have swooped with three arrests linked to terrorism and violent crime. A 29-year-old was nabbed under the Terrorism Act in Newtownards. Meanwhile, a 53-year-old man faced a similar charge in Hillsborough.

In a separate but related incident, a 30-year-old was caught in Newtownards on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and for possession of a Class B drug.

Raid Yields Crucial Evidence

Officers carried out multiple searches across Newtownards during the operation. Numerous items have been seized and sent off for further forensic examination.

All three suspects remain in custody as investigations continue. Police urge locals to come forward if they have any information.
