Man Left Fighting for Life After Brutal Arnos Grove Attack
Detectives hunting for answers after a vicious assault in Arnos Grove, Enfield, are pleading for witnesses to step forward. The victim, a 33-year-old man, remains in a critical, life-threatening condition following the attack.
Violent Attack on Bowes Road
Police rushed to Bowes Road, N11, at 1.30pm on Friday, 26 June after reports of an assault. The victim was rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service and is still clinging to life.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He has since been granted bail and is expected to return to a North London police station later this month.
Detectives Urge Witnesses To Speak Up
Detective Constable Carolina Luby, leading the investigation, said: “The victim is still fighting for his life in hospital. With tomorrow marking the one-week anniversary of the attack, it’s crucial anyone who saw what happened comes forward immediately.”
She added, “Several flats overlook the scene, so I’m convinced people know something. If you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please pass it on.”
