Teen Stabbed to Death in Haydon End – 20-Year-Old Arrested Then Released
Tragedy struck Mazurek Way in Haydon End yesterday afternoon when an 18-year-old local man was fatally stabbed. Police rushed to the scene around 1.30pm but the victim sadly died from his injuries.
Suspect Arrested but Now Freed
A 20-year-old man was arrested shortly after on suspicion of murder. However, he has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
Police Appeal to Community for Clues
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker, leading the Murder Crime Investigation Team, said:
“This is a fast-paced investigation and we are exploring many lines of enquiries. We recognise this will have had a huge impact on the local community and we are heartened by the large number of people who are coming forward with information to help with our enquiries. The victim’s identity is believed to be known, and his next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is yet to be confirmed.
