Two Men Arrested in Shocking New Lead in Andrew Gosden Disappearance
Police Nab Two Men Over Kidnap and Human Trafficking
Officers from the Met Police have swooped, detaining two men on Wednesday, 8 December, in a chilling twist to the Andrew Gosden case. A 45-year-old was arrested on suspicion of kidnap, human trafficking, and possession of indecent images of children. A 38-year-old was also arrested, facing the same kidnapping and trafficking allegations.
Both Men Released but Probe Intensifies
Despite the arrests, both men have been released under investigation while detectives dig deeper into the case. Andrew Gosden, now 28, vanished without a trace back on 14 September 2007.
Last Seen Boarding Train to London
The 14-year-old schoolboy was last caught on CCTV arriving at King’s Cross station after boarding a train from Doncaster. Since then, his whereabouts remain a mystery, with police failing to confirm any sightings or leads—until now.
Investigator Pleads for Public’s Help
“Our priority at this time is supporting Andrew’s family while we work through this new line of enquiry,” said Detective Inspector Andy Knowles. “We are in close contact with them and ask that their privacy is respected as our investigation continues.
“We have made numerous appeals over the years to find out where Andrew is and what happened to him when he disappeared. I would encourage anyone with any information they have not yet reported to come forward.”
The hunt for clues continues to ramp up. Anyone with info is urged to contact the police immediately.
