Teen Held Over Brutal Southwark Stabbing
Detectives have made a fresh arrest in the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Clinton Evbota in Southwark. A 16-year-old boy from Camberwell was taken into custody on Tuesday morning, 3 December, on suspicion of murder.
The teenager remains held at a South London police station as the investigation intensifies.
Clinton Slain on Grimsel Path
Police rushed to the Brandon Estate on Grimsel Path, SE5, after being called at 8.20pm on Thursday, 10 October. Officers discovered Clinton suffering from multiple stab wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene just under an hour later, at 9.14pm.
A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as multiple stab wounds. The Specialist Crime Command is leading the probe.
Multiple Arrests as Hunt Continues
So far, seven males aged 14 to 18 have been arrested in connection with Clinton’s murder. One 14-year-old has been released with no further action, while six others have been bailed pending further enquiries.
