Woman Arrested After Fatal London Stabbing
A 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice on Friday, 30 July. She remains in custody at a south London police station.
Man Dies in SE10 Stabbing Horror
Police were called at 1.06am to Welland Street, SE10, following reports of a stabbing. Officers, alongside London Ambulance Service, found a man with serious stab wounds.
The victim, 29-year-old Reece Williams, was rushed to hospital but tragically died. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. A post-mortem will take place soon.
Second Victim in Stable Condition
A 20-year-old man was found nearby, also stabbed. He was taken to hospital and remains in a stable condition.
The same man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood said: “My thoughts are with Reece’s family as they come to terms with his tragic death. I can assure them we will do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice.”
“We’ve spoken to key witnesses but believe others who were present have yet to come forward. I urge anyone with information to contact us immediately.”
