One Year On: Hunt Continues for Leroy’s Killer
The Met is still desperate to catch the killers who gunned down Leroy, 35, more than a year ago. Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin from the Specialist Crime Command vowed that time won’t shield the culprits. “We remain determined to get the answers his family desperately need,” she said.
A Family’s Plea for Justice

“It’s been just over a year since Leroy was murdered. Our hearts are broken,” said his mother Maura. “We know nothing will bring him back but we want answers. If you have any information please contact police or Crimestoppers. We wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone.”

Goodwin said: “We continue to dismantle groups importing and distributing guns. Our strategy is clear: disrupt the most harmful criminals and protect vulnerable communities.”
