Manhunt Underway After Alleged Rape Outside Edgware Tube
Detectives have launched a desperate hunt after a man in his 20s was allegedly raped near Edgware Underground station in the early hours of 6 September.
Chilling Attack Near Tube Station
The victim was heading home from a night out when he was approached just after midnight. Police say the suspect struck up a conversation before allegedly raping the man in a nearby car park.
An urgent investigation was launched with emergency services racing to the scene. Officers are providing specialist support to the victim as inquiries continue.
Snapped On CCTV Hours Later
Police have now released fresh CCTV images and video of the suspect inside a shop in Station Approach, caught on camera hours after the attack.
Detective Inspector Richard Lewsley urged locals to study the footage closely and spread the word in community groups. He revealed officers have already sifted through over 100 hours of CCTV to track the perpetrator.

- Believed to be a local or frequent visitor to Edgware and Hendon Central.
- Anyone recognising him should contact police without delay.
