Manhunt Underway for Prison Escapee Simon Deacon
Sussex Police is hot on the trail of Simon Deacon, who broke free from HMP Ford Prison on 19 November. The 47-year-old was last spotted at 1:10pm that Thursday while serving time for robbery.
What He Looks Like and What He Was Wearing
- White male, around 6ft tall
- Stocky or large build
- Short brown hair with a fringe
- Last seen in grey or black Nike jogging bottoms
- Cream or light-coloured jacket over a green top
- Black Nike trainers
Where Deacon Might Be Hiding
Deacon has strong connections to West Sussex and the South East London areas of Brockley, Greenwich, and Sydenham. He is also known to frequent Northamptonshire, Havant in Hampshire, and Harefield in Middlesex.
Police Warning: Do Not Approach
“Anyone who sees Deacon – or knows his whereabouts – should not approach him but call 999 immediately, quoting serial 1268 of 19/11.”
Deacon escaped alongside a second prisoner, who was caught by Thames Valley Police on 22 November. The hunt for Deacon continues.
