Detectives Hunt Man Over Brutal Rape in Liverpool City Centre
Police are urgently searching for a man who may hold crucial information about a shocking rape in Liverpool’s Temple Lane. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, March 18, around 5:30am. A woman in her twenties was allegedly attacked near the OMG Liverpool bar and club.
Witnesses Could Hold Key Clues
Detective Sergeant Joe Rea urged anyone who recognises the man or who was in the area to come forward immediately. “If you know this man, please get in touch now. He may have vital information to assist us,” he said.
Police believe others nearby may have seen or heard something and are keen to speak with anyone who might help. “A serious offence like this is upsetting. Our specialist officers will continue supporting the victim while we follow every lead,” added DS Rea.

The force reassures the public the investigation is a top priority. “We understand the community’s concern and are assessing all evidence thoroughly,” said the detective. “Even the smallest detail could be crucial – please share anything you know.”
