Ten Shots Fired Near Roundon Park
A Roundon Park resident, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that ten gunshots rang out nearby this evening. Two men were hit in the shocking shooting.
Major Police Operation Underway
Armed officers swiftly descended on the scene, setting up a large crime perimeter. Witnesses described the road as a “sea of emergency services,” with police and ambulances lining the entire stretch.
Victims Taken to Hospital
A Met Police spokesperson revealed police were called around 9pm on Sunday, 7 May, after reports of shots fired on Campbell Road.
- A 21-year-old man and a 66-year-old man were rushed to hospital with gunshot injuries.
- The younger man’s condition is serious but still under assessment.
- The older man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
No Arrests Yet – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Police have made no arrests so far. They are appealing to anyone with information or who witnessed the shooting to call 101, quoting reference 6986/07may.
