Shock Robbery at Milltown Cemetery Leaves Elderly Man Traumatized

An elderly man was targeted and robbed while visiting a family grave at Milltown Cemetery in west Belfast. The chilling attack took place on Tuesday, July 18, just after 9:30am, shaking the victim and sparking fear among locals about safety in the usually peaceful cemetery.

Three Suspects Steal ‘Considerable Amount’ of Cash

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) revealed that three men, aged between 20 and 30, approached the victim and snatched a significant sum of money before fleeing. Eyewitnesses last spotted the trio heading towards the cemetery wall near the Sainsbury’s store.

Police Hunt for Culprits – Public Asked to Help

Authorities have launched a full probe into the robbery and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Detectives are especially keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has details that could lead to the capture of the suspects.
