Armed Police Swarm Finchley Hospital Over Sword-Wielding Man
Armed police and emergency crews rushed to Finchley Memorial Hospital after reports of a man spotted carrying a large sword.
Chaos on Granville Road
Officers were called to the hospital on Granville Road in North Finchley just after midday on Monday, March 29, 2021.
Sword-Wielding Martial Arts Mystery
Shortly after, at around 12:20pm, police received fresh calls from Bow Lane, N12. Witnesses reported a man practising martial arts with a sword.
But the sword wielder had vanished before police arrived. A thorough search of the area found no sign of him.
