Suspicious Blaze Rips Through Derelict Whitstable Building

Kent Police are hunting for answers after a fire ripped through an abandoned building in Whitstable.

Early Morning Inferno in Graystone Road

Officers rushed to Graystone Road at around 4.20am on Thursday 1 October 2020 after reports of flames. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service was already battling the blaze upon arrival and soon brought it under control.

Unoccupied Premises Sparks Suspicion

The building was empty when it caught fire. Police have launched an investigation, treating the cause as suspicious. Enquiries are ongoing to uncover who, or what, sparked the flames.
