Tragic Crash Claims Life of Beloved 82-Year-Old Mary Wilmore
Mary Wilmore, 82, described as the “greatest mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,” died in a horrific five-vehicle smash in Ettingshall, Wolverhampton last month. The collision on Millfields Road on 25 November at around 3.35pm also claimed the life of a 76-year-old woman.
Family Pay Heartbreaking Tributes
Mary’s family shared a moving tribute: “Mary was the greatest mother, grandmother and great-grandmother any family could ever have wanted. Family was everything to her and she was always kind and generous. We all miss her terribly.” They added, “The loss we all feel is huge and things will never be the same. Please respect our family at this sad time to allow us to grieve in private.”
Investigation Ongoing Into Deadly Five-Vehicle Collision
West Midlands Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the crash. Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes said:
“Our thoughts remain with the families affected by this awful collision. It’s vital we fully understand what happened with all five vehicles involved. We urge anyone with information who hasn’t yet spoken to us to come forward.”
He also appealed to drivers in the area to check dashcam footage that might help the investigation.
