Tragedy Strikes Norfolk Home: Father and Two Daughters Found Dead
Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45, and his two young daughters were found dead inside their Costessey home in Norfolk, along with an unidentified 36-year-old woman. Police forced entry to the property on Allan Bedford Crescent, Queen’s Hills, to make the grim discovery.
Family Devastated as Mystery Woman’s Identity Remains Unknown
The victims include Bartlomiej — a married engineer working in property trade — and his children. Norfolk Police confirmed all four deceased were from the same family, except the woman, whose identity is still a mystery. Next of kin have been informed.
Police Investigate, Confirm Weapon Found Not Linked
A weapon was found in nearby woods but police say it’s unconnected to the tragedy. A forensic tent and cordon remain at the scene as investigators search for answers.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Burgess said, “We believe this to be an isolated incident. The local community will understandably be shocked and upset. We will have increased patrols and urge anyone with concerns to come forward.”
Addressing rumours, he added, “We’re satisfied the knife found nearby is not linked to this incident.”
Community in Shock After Fatal Discovery
Neighbours recall a missing persons report made before Christmas involving the family. Police had contacted them following that alert. The quiet Queen’s Hills estate — home to 5,000 people — is now mourning this heartbreaking loss.
Formal identification and forensic tests are ongoing. Police continue their thorough investigation, urging patience and cooperation from the public as they piece together what led to this devastating event.
