Blaze Hits Southsea High-Rise Tower
Fire crews rushed to Sarah Robinson House in Southsea this afternoon after a cooking fire broke out in the high-rise block. Quick action from first responders stopped the flames from spreading.
Seven Fire Engines and Aerial Ladder Deployed
Firefighters from Southsea, Cosham, and Portchester scrambled to the scene. Overall, seven fire engines, an aerial ladder, and a command unit were sent to tackle the blaze.
Emergency Services Seal Off Area
An ambulance and police were also on site. Officers set up a cordon while firefighters battled the fire. More updates to follow.
