Firefighter Hurt After Bottle Thrown at London Fire Engine

In the early hours of Thursday, 12 January, chaos erupted in Ridley Road, East London. At 1.45am, a bottle was hurled at a London Fire Brigade (LFB) vehicle, injuring a firefighter on duty.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed the incident: “At 01:45hrs on Thursday, 12 January, police were contacted by LFB after a bottle was thrown at an LFB vehicle in Ridley Road E8, injuring a member of staff.

So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing as authorities hunt for those responsible.
