Lieutenant Colonel Stabbed Near Brompton Barracks in Shocking Attack

A brutal stabbing outside Brompton Barracks, Gillingham, Kent, has left Lieutenant Colonel Mark Teeton critically injured. The assault happened around 6pm on Tuesday, with the suspect believed to be known to the victim through family ties.

Masked Attacker Strikes in Seconds

Police reveal the attacker, riding a moped and wearing a ski mask and NASA bomber jacket, stabbed Lt. Col. Teeton a staggering twelve times in the back and neck. The violent assault unfolded in just 20 seconds, just steps from the officer’s home.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, airlifting the seriously wounded officer to hospital. His wife bravely tried to intervene as the attacker carried out the savage assault.

Suspect Nabbed Hours Later

Less than 30 minutes after the stabbing, officers caught a 24-year-old man from Rochester, found two miles from the scene. He’s been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Several knives were recovered from his home.
