Cash Snatch at Brighton Harvester Sparks Police Hunt
Police are on the lookout after a slick distraction theft at a Harvester restaurant on Madeira Drive, Brighton. The brazen robbery happened around 1pm on August 18, targeting two women fresh from a bank visit on North Street.
Spill Trick Used to Swipe Lump Sum
The pair were carrying a hefty amount of cash when diners reportedly caused a commotion by spilling liquid nearby. In the chaos, the cash vanished. Officers believe the ploy was carefully planned and executed by a group.
