“We work closely with our local Muslim communities to ensure they always feel safe,” said Verma. “Ramadan is a special and important time. We want it to be a blessed and fulfilling period free from fear or distress.”

Active Engagement with Mosques Across Nottinghamshire

Police are reaching out to mosques and their leaders across the county. “We’re here for them if they need us or have any concerns — no matter how small,” Verma added.
