Stabbing Horror in Brighton: Man Seriously Injured After Mass Brawl

Chaos erupted in Montpelier Place, Brighton, on Wednesday night when around 20 people clashed in a brutal fight. Police rushed to the scene at 10.15pm after reports of violence.

Victim in Serious Condition

A 40-year-old local man was stabbed during the fracas. He was rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Four Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder

Police have arrested four men – two aged 18, one 19, and one 57 – on suspicion of attempted murder. All are helping police with their inquiries but have now been released under investigation.

Police Appeal: Help Crack the Case

Detective Inspector James Ansell from Surrey and Sussex Police said: “This incident happened in a busy area of Brighton and we’re appealing for anyone with any information – including CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage – to contact us.”
