Four Teens Hurt After Car Crashes into Tree in Erith

Four boys were rushed to hospital after their car slammed into a tree in Erith last Sunday evening.

Crash on Avenue Road

The smash happened around 8pm on 10 May near Avenue Road’s junction with Victoria Road. A black Vauxhall Astra lost control and smashed into a tree.

Four Injured, No Life-Threatening Wounds

Inside the car were four teenage boys aged 16 to 18. All suffered injuries and were treated by London Fire Brigade, Air Ambulance, and Ambulance crews before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, none are believed to be in a life-threatening condition.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Scotland Yard detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are handling the investigation. They say no other vehicles appear to be involved.
