Search Continues for Missing Joanne Sheen
Forty-four-year-old Joanne Sheen vanished without a trace, sparking a relentless police hunt. Her family reported her missing on Saturday, 22 February.
Last Seen in December
Joanne’s last confirmed sighting was on Thursday, 5 December, when she travelled from Fareham to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton with a friend. Since then, she has disappeared.
Police launched a public appeal on Friday, 17 April last year and have followed up on fresh information and leads ever since. Officers even conducted an intensive search near Empress Road and the nearby river, but Joanne remains missing.
Ongoing Investigation and Arrests
Four men and a 30-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. They have since been released under investigation, as inquiries continue.
Specialist officers are supporting Joanne’s family through this heartbreaking ordeal.
Police Plea: Help Find Joanne
Joanne is described as white, around 5 feet 1 inch tall, slim build, with long dark brown hair. Her body has not been found.
“If you have seen Joanne or know anything about her whereabouts, come forward and help bring closure to her family,” police urged.
