Met Police Hunt Four Over Separate Protest Incidents

Metropolitan Police counter-terror detectives have released images of four people they want to quiz over two separate protest incidents. They’re asking the public to help ID these individuals and come forward with any info.

Three Women Linked to Whitehall Palestine Protest

The first appeal concerns a pro-Palestine protest in Whitehall on Saturday, 14 October. Police have footage showing two women wearing tops emblazoned with paraglider images. They’re desperate to identify a third woman spotted on CCTV holding a placard featuring the same paraglider image.

New, clearer pics have been released to help the hunt.

  • Woman One: Dark-skinned, light brown trousers, long-sleeved red top with paraglider picture on the back. Blue denim jacket first tied around waist, later worn. Light blue medical mask, dark headscarf or bandana, dark red shoulder bag.
  • Woman Two: Light brown skin with dark hair clipped up. Black leggings and boots. Wore dark hooded top with paraglider image, later swapped for a light brown coat. Large black shoulder bag.
  • Woman Three: Afro-Caribbean, 20s to 40s, wearing a large green pendant, red jacket, floral dark scarf, and red scarf or bandana on her head. Seen holding the paraglider placard.

Man Sought Over ‘I Fully Support Hamas’ Placard

The second appeal relates to a man spotted waving a placard that read “I fully support Hamas” during a protest on Bond Street on Saturday, 21 October.

He is described as light-skinned with short dark hair. Clothing included a dark jacket, light top, light stripy scarf, and light trousers or jeans.

Police Urge Public to Help Identify Suspects

“It’s crucial we speak with these individuals to progress our inquiries,” said Commander Dominic Murphy, head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command. “We also encourage them to come forward.”
