Serious Crash Near Dartford Crossing Sparks Appeal
Witnesses are urged to come forward following a serious collision near the Dartford Crossing on Saturday afternoon. A white Iveco articulated HGV hit a pedestrian at 2.24pm on 14 October 2023.
Elderly Man Hurt – Arrest Made
The crash happened on the slip road from the Londonbound A2, just before it joins the A282 towards the Dartford Crossing. Emergency crews, including South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene.
A man in his 80s was rushed to hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition. A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and is now in police custody.

Investigations are ongoing. Police want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage that could help with inquiries.
