Man in 80s Seriously Injured Near Dartford Crossing
Witnesses are urged to come forward after a serious crash near the Dartford Crossing on Saturday afternoon. A white Iveco articulated HGV collided with a pedestrian at 2.24pm on 14 October 2023.
Crash on A2 Slip Road
Emergency crews, including patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the slip road off the Londonbound A2 just before the A282 towards the Dartford Crossing.
The victim, a man in his 80s, was taken to a London hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition. Meanwhile, a 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and is in custody.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are investigating and want to hear from anyone who saw the collision. Drivers with dashcams are asked to check for any footage that might help the probe.
