Teen Left Seriously Injured in Derby Hit-and-Run

A 17-year-old boy is fighting for recovery after a hit-and-run crash in Derby. The teen was riding his bike when a Ford Transit van slammed into him at the junction of Cheviot Street and Hawke Street at around 4.30pm on Friday, January 19.

Van Driver Flees the Scene

The injured cyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the van driver fled immediately, leaving the victim stranded. Police are now scrambling to track down the culprit.
